The St. Peter Men's Association invites all men of the parish to work in association with the Pastor for the well being of our church community, and to draw closer to God through prayer, fellowship and various activities.
Meeting Schedule
All men in the parish are invited to join us at our 7:00PM meeting the third Tuesday of each month, in the Ministry Center, which is located next to the St. Peter Adoration Chapel. Contact Eric Carter 985.807.4997
Format of Meeting
Meetings include fellowship, an informal dinner, a devotional, and discussion of business items.
Annual Activities
The Men's Association serves under the direction of the pastor. Some of the annual activities include:- Host ministry and coordinator of the annual Parish Family Picnic
- Assist with Church campus projects, preparations for outdoor liturgical celebrations, and special projects for our Pastor
- Selection, installation and lighting ceremony of the Parish Christmas Tree
- Annual Christmas fellowship for members, wives and parish priests including a dinner and gift exchange celebration
Dues are currently $25 per year plus we participate in one or two fundraisers each year, usually the providing of concessions at the Abita Opry.
